Kanaris & Eleftheriou | Athens | November 23

New York-based Greek-born composer Pericles Kanaris presents “Aoratos” (Invisible), an album based on lyrics by acclaimed Greek poet-lyricist Manos Eleftheriou, at the Pallas Theater in Athens on Wednesday, November 23. Performing the songs are vocalists Vassilis Papaconstantinou, Costas Makedonas, Rita Antonopoulou, Lambrini Karacosta and a group of New York musicians who have collaborated with artists such as Sir Elton John, Carlos Santana, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Bono and The Edge. In the second part of the concert, the artists perform works penned by composers such as Mikis Theodorakis, Yiannis Markopoulos and Stavros Xarchakos and reorchestrated by Kanaris.
