The Immigrant | Athens | November 27

The Athens Concert Hall is hosting “The Immigrant,” an event organized by the Fluxum Foundation and the Flux Laboratory to support refugee children, on Sunday, November 27. The event will feature a screening of Charlie Chaplin’s 1917 silent romantic comedy short “The Immigrant,” accompanied by the Athens State Orchestra in works by Greek-French composer Stephane Tsapis, who also leads the ensemble. Also taking part in the event are students from the orchestra’s newly established Academy of Young Musicians. Proceeds from the event will go toward the funding of educational and cultural projects for refugee children. Admission is set at 20 and 40 euros.
