No new migrant arrivals on Greek islands
There were no new arrivals of migrants and refugees from Turkey to Greece’s shores in the 24-hour period from Tuesday to Wednesday morning, authorities reported.
Officials believe that the halt in boat arrivals is explained by bad weather.
The total number of migrants and refugees stranded on the eastern Aegean islands is estimated at 11,660.
