A group of refugees and migrants staying in tents at the Petra camp on Mount Olympus were relocated to other facilities late Wednesday due to deteriotating weather conditions in the area. The decision to relocate the refugee and migrants was taken by the Katerini Municipality.
According to Greek state news agency ANA-MPA, the majority of refugees and migrants were taken to a shelter in the area of Volvi, while around 65 people were transferred to a hotel in Katerini. The latter were expected to be moved to Volvi in a few days.
