Investor jitters over relations between Athens and its creditors were evident at the Greek bourse again on Thursday, leading to more losses for most stocks.
The Athens Exchange (ATHEX) general index ended at 613.76 points, shedding 0.88 percent from Wednesday’s 619.19 points. The large-cap FTSE 25 index fell 0.57 percent to close at 1,663.88 points, while the banks index dropped 2.61 percent.
In total 36 stocks expanded, 54 declined and 24 stayed put.
Turnover rose to 71.6 million euros, from Wednesday’s 63.4 million.
The general index of the Cyprus Stock Exchange in Nicosia advanced 0.66 percent to close at 63.74 points.
