We need to get back on track

The Greek economy cannot take any more turbulence. It would be a grave mistake if the powers that be in the eurozone were to push it toward further uncertainty by evoking the government’s lamentable management of negotiations.

Greece and its people have suffered a great deal over the past few years. They cannot stand a new cycle of instability that would almost certainly destroy what has been achieved with so much hard work and sacrifice.

The key right now is for Greece’s partners to agree on short-term debt relief measures so that the talks for wrapping up the second bailout review can get back on track.
