Earthquake measuring 4.5 Richter strikes off Patra
An earthquake measuring 4.5 Richter struck the area north of Patra shortly before noon on Monday but there were no reports of damage or injuries.
The epicenter of the quake was 11 kilometers north of Patra at a depth of around 5 kilometers and it was felt across western Greece.
Seismologists said there was no cause for immediate concern but they were monitoring the aftershocks.
