Police officer receives bravery medal for saving child from fire
The Greek Police’s top brass on Thursday praised emergency dispatch officer Vassilis Terzakis for brave conduct, bestowing him with a police medal for his role in rescuing a child.
Terzakis pulled a young boy out of a burning building in the Athens district of Patissia on February 19, 2015, saving his life after the boy fainted in the blaze due to smoke inhalation.
