Crew refilling university ATM robbed by 2 men with guns
Police have arrested one suspect after two men with guns robbed an armored car crew refilling an ATM inside the campus of the Agricultural University of Athens.
It is understood that the holdup took place around 10.25 a.m. on Wednesday when two men approached the victims with their faces covered and carrying handguns. The two suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
One of the suspects was later apprehended by members of the police force’s motorcycle-riding unit, DIAS. A manhunt was ongoing for the second suspect.
