Police probe death of Belgian tourist shot in the head
Police on Monday were continuing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 54-year-old Belgian national whose body was found last Friday in a park in Neos Kosmos.
According to sources, a coroner's report indicated that the man had been shot in the back of the head.
The motive for the apparent murder of the Belgian tourist, however, remained unclear. Police have ruled out robbery as the man had his wallet, containing cash, on him.
