The Exhibition “Art: The Macedonian Art Society: 65 Years of Collections” brings together 400 paintings and engravings that chart the journey of Thessaloniki’s history and culture. The collections comprise work of an avant-garde nature by artists such as Yannis Tsarouchis, Dimitris Mytaras, Bost, Alekos Fassianos, Opy Zouni, Yannis Gaitis and Nikolaos Ventouras, who each left their mark on 20th century Greek art thanks to their distinct idiom. The exhibition is runs to October 15 at the Teloglion Foundation of Art at Thessaloniki’s Aristotle University.
