The Trans Adriatic Pipeline consortium announced on Wednesday it is investing 9 million euros in the upgrade of utility vehicles in northern Greece.

At a press conference held in Thessaloniki, TAP AG said it will donate 92 such vehicles to local communities across the three regions of northern Greece that the pipeline goes through.

It forms part of TAP’s social and environmental investment program amounting to 32 million euros that will be implemented across the areas involved in the construction of the project.

The 92 utility vehicles are 33 ambulances, 22 cleaning vehicles, 17 forestry vehicles, 14 snow blowers and six civil protection vehicles.
