Youth Orchestra | On Tour | September 1 & 4-8
The Greek-Turkish Youth Orchestra (GTYO) is celebrating 10 years on stage with a mini-tour of Greece, stopping at the Palace of the Grand Magister in the Medieval Town of Rhodes on September 1, the Cretan town of Iraklio (Technopolis) and Rethymno (Fortress) on September 4 and 5 respectively, Elefsina's cultural center on September 7 and Athens's Zappeio Hall on September 8. The orchestra, comprising some 60 talented young Greek and Turkish musicians, will be led by up-and-coming maestro Zoe Zeniodi, its first female Greek conductor.
