Moderate earthquake shakes central Aegean
An overnight earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale was felt as far as Athens and many other parts of the country at 1:49 a.m.
According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute, the tremor was centered 32 kilometers east of Alonissos and 134 kilometers north-northeast of Athens, and had a depth of 13 kilometers.
No damage has been reported thus far as a result of the earthquake.
