Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras donned a g-suit and flew on an F-16 fighter jet while visiting the 110th combat wing of the Hellenic Air Force in Larisa, central Greece Thursday afternoon.
The flight lasted about an hour and passed over Halkidiki, Mt. Athos, Limnos, Agios Efstratios and Skyros.
Tsipras was joined by air force and military leaders during his visit, where he met with airmen stationed in Larisa and thanked them for their service saying “you could not do this if you did not truly feel love and pride for your country.”
