Athens gang making, dealing anabolics busted
Financial crime units have unraveled a ring that illegally produced and distributed anabolics and stimulants and arrested 16 people.
After raiding two laboratories in Votaniko and Rendi in Athens and one in Glyka Nera, northeastern Attica, investigators found and confiscated more than 1.8 million anabolic tablets and around 90,000 sildenafil (Viagra) pills.
According to police reports, ring members would distribute the pills to health supplement stores and bodybuilding gyms in Greece, parts of Europe and Mexico.
