Leonore | Athens | October 30

The Athens Concert Hall presents a performance of Ludwig van Beethoven's only opera, “Leonore.” The production is of the opera's first edition from 1805, in three acts, and stars soprano Marlis Petersen in the title role. She will be accompanied by the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra, with Rene Jacobs conducting, and the Zurcher Sing-Akademie choir led by Florian Helgath. The performance, which will have Greek subtitles, starts at 8.30 p.m. and ticket prices range from 15 to 80 euros.
