Three suspects to be questioned over killing of Athens lawyer

The transfer of three inmates of Attica's high-security Korydallos Prison to the headquarters of the capital's police, GADA, is believed to be linked to an ongoing investigation into the killing earlier this month of the criminal lawyer Michalis Zafeiropoulos.

According to sources, the investigation has shifted to identifying the "moral accomplices" as there is already said to be irrefutable evidence incriminating the actual killers.

All three suspects have been linked to the attempted contract killing in 2014 of another lawyer, Giorgos Antonopoulos.
