Press conference called over archive discovery
Parliament Speaker Nikos Voutsis has called a press conference for 1 p.m. on Wednesday to make an official announcement regarding the discovery of what are believed to be valuable archives on the premises.
The discovery concerns 1,000 original documents contained in 140 boxes.
It appears that they date from 1897 to 1977 and about half of them concern meetings and decisions of the council of ministers during the 1967-74 military dictatorship.
