ND’s Georgiadis announces end to telemarketing career
New Democracy vice president Adonis Georgiadis said on Thursday he will stop selling books and other products on his TV show after he came under intense criticism on social media in recent days after advertising a “therapeutic, nanobionic” vest to his viewers.
Georgiadis announced his decision on his show on Thursday, saying he had come under attack from his rivals because of his political standing.
The 45-year-old conservative politician started selling books on TV in 1999.
