Hospital doctor nabbed for bribery
A Thessaloniki prosecutor has indicted a doctor on charges he took bribes from patients at the Papageorgiou Hospital.
The doctor came to the attention of police authorities after a woman filed a complaint saying that he demanded 1,000 euros from her for having delivered her baby.
He was arrested after the woman, along with an undercover officer posing as her husband, visited his office last week and paid him the amount in pre-marked bills.
