Salmonella found in meat products

The Hellenic Food Authority (EFET) has ordered the withdrawal from stores and supermarket shelves of batches of stuffed chicken rolls and burgers after tests revealed they were contaminated with the Salmonella spp bacteria.

EFET said one of the products was called “AB chicken roll with bacon and cheese” with an expiry date of 17/03/2019. The product was produced and packaged by AB Vasilopoulos.

The other contaminated product contained barbecue burgers with parsley and onion with an expiry date of 26/10/2018, produced and packaged by P. Kamaratou.
