Ministries eye WiFi on Athens public transport

The Transport and Digital Policy ministries announced on Monday that, in collaboration with the Attica Regional Authority, they intend to draft plans for the installation of Wi-Fi systems on buses, trolleys and trams serving the Athens area.

The project is expected to cost 900,000 euros and foresees the installation of devices on 2,030 vehicles. The project is expected to be completed by the fall of 2018.
