Police come under Molotov attack in downtown Athens

Police officers stationed in central Athens came under attack late on Friday from hooded assailants who threw firebombs.

According to authorities, there were repeated attacks between 11 p.m. on Friday and 1 a.m. Saturday at the junction of Tositsa and Patission streets in downtown Athens.

None of the officers were injured. No arrests were made.
