The Thessaloniki Film Festival is showcasing one of the most interesting national cinemas in the world right now with a tribute to Iranian film at the Stavros Tornes theater at the port complex. Organized in cooperation with the Iranian Embassy’s Cultural Center, the tribute comprises six fiction features and two documentaries that illustrate Iran’s blossoming cinema scene. The screening program starts at 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, with “Spring Wind,” a 25-minute documentary commissioned by Iran’s tourism board to promote the country’s attractions.
