Efthimis Malafouris | Athens | To February 24
In his first solo show, Efthimis Malafouris presents a collection of paintings titled “Emotional Geometry,” inspired by Cubism and Futurism. In his large-scale oils, the artist uses the vocabulary of form to vividly depict emotional states such as curiosity, love, expectation and contemplation in earthy colors. The opening hours for his show at the Peri-Technon Gallery are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
