Police detain man, 41, on drug charges
Police on Tuesday detained a 41-year-old Albanian national after a search of the car he was driving turned up 66 kilograms of cannabis.
The officers who stopped the suspect on Monday in Elassona, central Greece, said that he had entered the country illegally and collected a vehicle at the Albanian border with which he was to deliver the drugs to a middleman.
Officers found the cannabis in 31 plastic bags.
