Nikos Lagos | Athens | To March 10
Zoumboulakis Galleries presents a new series of works by Nikos Lagos titled “Withdrawal,” in an exhibition that runs through March 10. Alluding to children’s drawings and graffiti, Lagos’s paintings “trigger mental associations about the anxieties of existence in a critical, transitional, contradictory and fragmented age,” according to art historian Yiannis Bolis. Opening hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
