Man holds up post office in Thessaloniki

An unidentified man carried out an armed robbery at a Hellenic Post (ELTA) branch in the Ambelokipi suburb of Thessaloniki on Thursday.

According to reports, the armed robber entered the post office branch on Ambelonon Street and made off with 1,000 euros.

Police have launched an investigation.
