Greek businessman Stelios Sklavenitis dead at 53

Stelios Sklavenitis, one of the three siblings behind one of Greece’s largest supermarket chains, died on Sunday at the age of 53.

Sklavenitis had been admitted to a hospital in Athens on Saturday with an acute respiratory illness.

There has been no official announcement as to the cause of his death.

His funeral will take place on Wednesday.
