Metro stoppage on Tuesday

Workers at the Athens metro will be holding a work stoppage on Tuesday morning, which means there will be no service until after 9 a.m., it was announced Wednesday.

Workers complain over staff and spare parts shortages which they say undermine the smooth and safe operation of the network.
