Thessaloniki trash collectors go on strike
Municipal garbage collectors in the northern port city of Thessaloniki will be gathering outside City Hall on Monday as part of a three-day strike that began on Sunday.
According to their union, the workers are protesting delays in overtime payments as well as the failure of the municipal authority to provide them with safety gear while on the job.
