Oenorama | Athens | March 2 & 3
One of the world's biggest showcases of Greek wine, the annual Oenorama exhibition takes place this weekend at Zappeion Hall. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the event will represent up to 250 wineries this year, with more than 1,800 labels available for tasting. A good place for the uninitiated to start their visit is the Oenorama tasting gallery, called “Discover Greek Wines,” where you can find a selection of about 250 of some of the show’s best wines, picked by the growers themselves as the most representative of their regions. Doors are open to the general public on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and admission costs 12 euros. Guests need to pre-register for an admission pass at www.oenorama.com.
