Convict on the run from Cretan prison

Police on Crete on Sunday were seeking a 46-year-old foreign inmate of the island’s Nea Alikarnassos Prison who failed to return to the penitentiary on Saturday when his furlough expired.

The 46-year-old is serving a sentence for drug-related crimes, according to local reports.
