Assailants damage post office in northern Athens

Police were seeking the perpetrators behind a small-scale bomb attack on a branch of Hellenic Post (ELTA) in Pefki, northern Athens, early Thursday morning.

The unidentified assailants used a homemade explosive device made of gas canisters, which detonated at the entrance of the branch on Varvaresou street at 4.10 a.m., causing damage to the building’s facade but no injuries.
