Woman rescued from burning flat in Athens neighborhood
An elderly woman was rescued from a fire in a third-floor apartment in the district of Moshato in southern Athens, on Wednesday afternoon.
The fire department said the blaze was brought under control by 23 firemen sent to the building located on the corner of Fleming and Drosini Streets.
The woman was evacuated from the staircase and was sent to hospital as a precaution.
