City hall guard attacked by vandals
A probe was launched on Wednesday into an attack in the early hours of Wednesday against a guard who had been on duty outside the building housing the Municipal Authority of Pylaia-Hortiati in Thessaloniki.
The guard was assaulted by unidentified individuals who had been spraying slogans on the wall of the building.
According to witnesses, the assailants beat the guard, leaving him with minor injuries, before fleeing.
