What can Greek society find to praise in the television coverage of such an outrageous crime?

Could it be the screening of child pornography in the guise of a journalistic scoop?

Or perhaps the attempt by some journalists to do the authorities’ job for them by giving on-screen instructions as to how the police should carry out their investigation?

Or perhaps the repetitive broadcasting of the rape of the unfortunate schoolgirl whose testimony was leaked and illegally shown in the media?

We hope that the private channels’ representative was simply acting. Because if he truly believed what he told the council there is cause for grave concern.

Those who are making use of state property (television frequencies) are not only unwilling to provide solutions, they don’t even understand the problem.
