Our politicians are here to solve the country’s problems, not deal with the political process per se.

Politicians must focus on the needs of greater society, not with the balance of power.

Political procedures are a tool for improving the people’s living standards; they must by no means become an end in and of themselves.

Speculation over who will replace the government’s ministers in a possible much-talked-about reshuffle, appears to be a very popular pastime among party officials in this country but is unnecessary at best and harmful at worst.

When politicians engage in navel-gazing, as they have over the last few days, the very problems that they have been elected to solve perpetuate or worsen.

We are living in difficult times.

The government’s ministers must get down to some hands-on spade work to solve some of the problems plaguing the country.

Anything else is simply a publicity stunt aimed at consumption by the hungry television
