Greece vanished from the map once again. If the unionists of the Bank of Greece pull the plug again today, the country will spend a third day in the black hole, a country with closed borders.

Greece will pay a heavy price for the unbearable lightness demonstrated by those who behave as if the country belongs to them. It may even be brought to its knees in order to satisfy their pension demands.

With such tactics these groups are violating their most basic obligations and losing whatever sense of justice they may have had.

When the international markets realize that this not just a glitch in the system, the damage will be irreparable. Government bonds and company stocks are worth nothing if they cannot be cashed in at a moment’s notice. Crumbling investor confidence will take its toll on the public debt.

No one can take a country seriously in which people are allowed to play with the master switch and go unpunished.
