ARREST OF LOULES: Deputy Interior Minister Mr Evangelos Kalantzis announced yesterday evening that the Athens General Security police had arrested Constantine Dimitris Loules, a Central Committee member of the Communist Party of Greece. Loules, 49, from Tyrnavos, is a law graduate. (...) Mr Kalantzis visited the acting prime minister, Mr Panayiotis Kanellopoulos, and briefed him on his general observations from his tour of northern Greece and his talks with police officials in the region. BATTLE TO SUCCEED PAPAGOS: Following publication of an article in the pro-government afternoon press pointing out the need for a government reshuffle and expressing certain views which the newspaper said called for a restructuring of the government, officials have said that nothing had occurred to justify any change of course in the government since its last reshuffle. (...) Prime Minister Field Marshal Alexandros Papagos is to return to Greece on Sunday night (March 20) from Switzerland after consulting with medical specialists, who found that he was not suffering from any disease. He is to resume his duties the following day.
