Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis meets with Syria Foreign Minister Walid Mualem, Albanian FM Besnik Mustafaj and Algerian FM Mohammed Bedjaoui.

General Secretary of Amnesty International Irene Khan receives an award from the Athens Bar Association for the organization’s contribution to the protection of human rights and justice. At the Old Parliament building on Stadiou Street at 7 p.m.

Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis participates in a meeting of foreign ministers of the South East European Cooperation Process (SEECP) with UN special representative for Kosovo Martti Ahtisaari at the offices of the Greek Permanent Mission to the UN in New York.

The inauguration of a new home and daycare center in Kalyvia, Attica, of the Argo association of parents with disabled children takes place at 6 p.m. The initiative is funded by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

The protest project “Peace Camp” is to be set up by the Greek Anti-War Movement outside Athens University on Panepistimiou Street.
