GREECE-ITALY: The general secretary of the National Tourism Organization of Greece has announced the signing of a 20-year contract with Italy’s Adriatica for the joint operation of two ferryboats to ply the Brindisi-Corfu-Igoumenitsa route. One of these will fly the Greek flag and the other the Italian flag. The Greek ferry will begin plying its route in June 1960 and the Italian one in the summer of 1961. Both will sail regularly over the season of high demand, beginning from April 1 and continuing to October 31 every year.
