Tutu extends a helping hand on Cyprus

South African Archbishop Desmond Tutu walks past a sign reading 'Peace' near the Ledra Street checkpoint in the divided capital Nicosia yesterday. Tutu is visiting the island along with former US President Jimmy Carter to back a new peace drive. 'Look here, man. You could give the world something to smile about, something to celebrate, and you have got the capacity to do it,' Tutu told a news conference.
