Hytner’s production of Racine’s work, which is based on Euripides’s play ‘Hippolytus,’ has already received widespread praise in the UK. The ancient amphitheater is to host other prominent artists this summer, including British director Sam Mendes and veteran French actress Jeanne Moreau in the coming weeks.
