A protester tries...

LOUISA GOULIAMAKI/AFP

A protester tries to escape a cloud of tear gas in central Athens during a rally against university reforms. Four people were arrested as some demonstrators clashed with riot police and damaged property. A guard outside the Aegean Ministry fired a warning shot into the air when a group of some 50 people charged the building. The incident is being investigated. No injuries were reported. University teachers are due to begin a conference today during which they will decide whether to continue protesting reforms.
