Public Works Minister...

ANA

Public Works Minister Giorgos Souflias gestures during a press conference yesterday, in which he effectively confirmed news reports that the government is against allowing diesel-fueled cars in major Greek cities. ‘The circulation of such vehicles presupposes an environmental impact study,’ he said. Souflias also indicated that the government will allow building development on at least a fifth of the old Athens airport at Hellenikon, which has been earmarked to become a park.
