Aris Grigoriadis takes the start at the men's 50m backstroke final in the World Swimming Championship in Montreal, Canada late on Sunday. The 19-year-old Greek won gold, clocking 24.95 seconds, a world-leading performance and a new national record. He became the first Greek swimmer to win a medal at the World Championship.
