Results set up soccer derby

Only two points will separate Panathinaikos and Olympiakos when the two rivals meet in the Super League next Sunday, after both sides were held to surprise draws over the weekend.

Olympiakos gained a two-goal lead thanks to Michal Zewlakow and Costas Mitroglou at PAS Yiannina on Saturday but allowed the home side to score twice in the last 7 minutes. Panathinaikos drew 1-1 with 10-man Asteras Tripolis at home. Chigozie Udoji scored for the visitors in the 61st minute but Antonis Ladakis was sent off moments later. Djibril Cisse equalized in the 74th minute to give PAO a point, putting it on 29 points after 11 games, with Olympiakos on 27.

The weekend’s big winner was PAOK, which beat rival Aris 4-1 to move clear in third place on 21 points. In the other games: It was Kavala 2, AEK 1; Xanthi 1, Levadiakos 0; Iraklis 2, Atromitos 2 and Panionios 3, Panthrakikos 1.
