President Karolos Papoulias yesterday appealed to politicians in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia to abandon ‘nationalist and anachronistic tactics for the benefit and welfare of its citizens.’ Papoulias (l) made his statement from Belgrade, where he is on an official visit and met yesterday with Serbian President Boris Tadic (r).
